High Profile for Lucas Oil at Santa Pod Racing Club Awards

Anglesey, Wales (February 11th, 2019) –

Congratulations to Frankie Taylor, who received the Most Promising Newcomer prize at the Santa Pod Racing Club Awards (February 2019), held in association with Lucas Oil.

Frankie drives for the Banshee Dragster Racing Team. She was placed 18th in the 2018 Lucas Oil Junior Dragster Championship, but some fine driving performances marked her out as one to watch for the future.

Top marks for presentation went to Wayne Nicholson and the crew of the Lucky Devil Racing team. They race their Pro Modified 1963 Corvette Stingray in the MSA British Drag Racing Championship. The team scooped the SPRC award for the Most Professional Appearing Team.

“Our congratulations go out to all of the SPRC award winners, but these two were particularly pleasing,” says Dan Morgan, Director of Sales and Operations for Lucas Oil Products (UK). “Frankie is a very promising driver and as a brand, we like to promote the advancement of youth. That’s one reason why we have renewed sponsorship of the Lucas Oil Junior Dragster Championship for 2019.”

Lucky Devil uses a variety of products from the Lucas Oil oranges of oils, additives, lubricants and car care products. These include Toolbox Buddy (lubricant and anti-rust), Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer, Assembly Lube, 70 Plus Racing Oil and Multi Vehicle ATF.

“It’s nice to see our products making significant contributions towards team successes. It’s also great to see the Lucas Oil brand associated with winners,” he adds.
