Caitlin Wilson Receives 2018 Lucas Oil Junior Dragster Championship Trophy

Anglesey, Wales (February 11th, 2019) – 

Caitlin Wilson was presented with her National Championship Winner 2018 trophy at the Santa Pod Racing Club awards, this week. She was the 2018 Lucas Oil Junior Dragster Champion.

In her run to victory, she collected an impressive 2790 points in the six different competitions, securing the eventual win over Runner-Up Joe Holland-Villa by just 120 points.

Points are accumulated over the season according to performances in competitions such as the Festival of Power (760pts), Main Event (570). Summer Nationals (230), Euro Finals (930), National Finals (100) and 5 SPR Rounds (200).

“It’s a tough competition but Caitlin Wilson has the determination – and a strong team – to get the results she needs when she needs them. It was a great result for the Lucas Oil Junior Dragster Championship,” says Dan Morgan, Director of Sales and Operations for Lucas Oil Products (UK).
