I want to thank you for saving my car. I've got a '66 Bug completely stocked. Today I was heading to college. I was about 65 miles down the road when I heard this awful screaching sound. I pulled over and it turned out the crankshaft pulley nut fell off! So on the side of the highway I put it back on but also noticed there was no oil in the engine.
At that moment I had not used your oil stabilizer, I decided it was worth a try and filled it with a 50% mix. It actually got my car seven miles down the road to a repair shop. I let it cool down and the mechanic flushed oil through the system (very bad idea. I should have kept the stabilizer in the engine).
It was okay for about two more miles. Soon after the stablilzer had been flushed out the engine overheated again and I limoed to another repair shop. But not before major damage had been done.
This little experience has completely sold me on your product because even though oil could not circulate through the engine the stablilzer kept it from overheating.
Here are the results from flushing the stabilizer out of the engine: overheated engine resulting in 3 of 4 con rods breaking from heat; melted oil pump; broken mechanical fuel pump; and ruined the bearings.
I will never again drive a car without your stabilizer!
Sincerely,
Derrick A. Ward
