My 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo had a slight transmission lag in the shift pattern over time. The car has 125K miles so I started to look for a maintenance solution. Local mechanics advised against getting a transmission machine flush service. They recommended removing 24 ounces of the old fluid from the transmission and replace with Lucas Transmission Fix. About a year ago, I got a transmission flush in my 2005 Mercury Sable. However, upon doing so, it became apparent that the vehicle had never had the ATF changed in its 145,000 mile lifetime. So, all the clutch material that had basically allowed the tranny to operate normally was gone. The car would not stop bucking and slipping. I have a 1987 Volvo 240GL with just over 270,000 miles on it that gets very little road time. When I got it five years ago the transmission was leaking. I replaced the cooler line fittings only to discover the trans was leaking from the main seal where the bellhousing attaches to the gearbox. To replace this is basically a full rebuild. I decided to give Lucas Trans Fix a try. Well after less that 50 miles of driving the leak stopped! This product delivers as claimed! I just saved $1,300.00!

My 1999 Subaru Legacy Outback started to not go into drive or there was along delay. I heard that this is a problem that many people see with these older Subarus. So I decided to try your Transmission Fix along with changing the transmission fluid with Lucas Semi-Synthetic Transmission Fluid. Well right after the change in fluids the transmission worked better then before and went right into drive. It did however started to have a delay again after a few thousand miles so I did the same fluid change again and the transmission has been working perfect for the last 25,000 miles!!!!!!

My '02 Chevy Cavalier coupe is definitely one of the nice looking ones still around, except that I noticed some play in the transmission at around 98,000 Miles. Even after a flush and fill with new transmission fluid, I would get hard shifts and a delay in kick down. I put this Lucas Transmission Fix stuff in and within about 20 miles, it was driving like a brand new car, with pillow soft and effortless shifting.
