Ethanol fuel regardless of the type has several drawbacks. Two key ones are the loss of horsepower in high outside ambient temp weather and normal cool weather. I have used Lucas's [Safeguard] Ethanol Conditioner about 5,000 after my purchase of my 2005 Ford Escape 4wd/3.0L with 20.000 +K Mi. The difference is very noticeable. There are several steep hills in our area that require you to accelerate up to 4,000 RPM to maintain 65mph. With Lucas I can maintain the 65mph with only 3,000 - 3,500RPM. This now saves a little on the pocketbook on gas purchase. When you use this product plus Lucas's Deep Fuel System Cleaner every 6 months you have a winner for engine performance.

Well I always heard the hype about Lucas products but have never been one to drink the snake oil if you will. I've now used the power steering leak stop, complete fuel system cleaner and the transmission fix in both my vehicles. All I can say is WOW! I am truly impressed ladies and gentleman. Mostly with the transmission fix. On my 1990 Lifted Bronco I was told by a reputable trans shop here in South East Florida that I needed a new torque converter due to it having what I can only explain as feeling lumpy in overdrive. I put half the recommended amount in my 1990 Bronco just to see what would happen. Also so I didn't over fill it. The Bronco is back on par 110%. Shifts smoother and sooner like it should and better than it ever did. It literally took 5 minutes of driving for the systems to stop. Mind you I did all this 15000 miles ago. The transmission is still running perfect. Even when crawling on rocks. Pure magic in a bottle.

Never fall in love with a car! I fell in love with my Lexus 1997 SC400, a car with the quietest of cabins. Even after 236,000 miles over the road, the drivability remains unchanged except for a power steering unit that was starting to sound like a trash truck. My quiet was disturbed...enter Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak. While discovering from my mechanic that a new unit would be a $1000 dollar proposition, I decided that the $10.99 purchase of the Lucas Stop Leak was a reasonable alternative. I was a tad skeptical in that there was no leakage evident on the floor of my garage. However, noxious sounds there were. Voila, with the introduction of Stop Leak, from lock to lock just two times and the noise disappeared like Casper The Ghost and has yet to return two weeks after the fact. For me, it is seldom that automotive products live up to their hype. Well, Lucas Stop Leak will do more than words--Terrific Product!

About 6 years ago, the car developed a PS leak and recently it developed a hydraulic suspension leak. I used Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak in both cases (w/ Lucas Hydraulic Fluid) to fix both problems. After flushing, I pumped the reservoir down until it was almost empty. Then I added apx 15 oz of Lucas Stop Leak. I should note that it is compatible with all oils and hydraulic fluids so that's what gave me the security to do this. I filled the reservoir with the MB fluid + Lucas SL + a few ounces of Lucas hydraulic fluid to bring it up to the MAX level. I went for a long ride . . . 50miles . . . and when I returned, the rear end was up to where it used to be . . . which I had forgotten. And the best part, there was no leaks!!! Can you say . . pleased and happy!

I would like to tell you a amazing story about your Power Steering Stop Leak. I bought a new 1974 Corvette at the age of 19 soon to be 46 years ago and I still have the car. The power steering fluid started leaking at the power steering valve back in the early 80s. The car had not been started for 27 years till last August the 13th. It's always been inside and is in great shape. Just wanted to say how much I love your Octane Boost! I am using Octane Booster with the Shell V-Power NiTRO+ Premium Gasoline in my 2010 Audi A5 and when I drive I feel the difference. Every time I refuel the tank I add 15OZ of Octane booster.
This product gives me the fastest ring seal of anything else I have used.

I have built vintage and old tractor engines for over 60 years. I have broke engines in on everything from 10w straight weight to s3 diesel oil. This product [Lucas High Zinc Engine Break-In Oil] has so far on dyno break in of flat head Fords give me the fastest ring seal of anything else I have used. I'm not a snake oil fan so if a product passes my tests my customers will hear about it.
If it wasn’t for the Lucas being in there it would have froze up for sure!

I maintain a fleet of equipment for a local golf course use Lucas Oil Stabilizer in all of the equipment. One of our spray rigs hit a tree stump and cracked the oil pan in half. The operator didn't realize how bad it was leaking and drove it 1/4 mile back to the shop! I pulled the bottom rotating assembly apart and was totally amazed everything was fine. If it wasn't for the Lucas being in there it would have froze up for sure! I am a true believer in this product as I use it it all my own personal vehicles along with my 850h/p drag car!

Used Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer in 40 year old diesel tractor. With a quality name brand engine oil. And wow it runs great now. Had a couple of slow seeping oil leaks not bad enough to fix, but now no need. Plan on using more Lucas products as I redo this tractor. Will post more as I go. Have always used Lucas in all my vehicles and I got 250,000 miles out of an old ford engine. Great stuff.
