Lucas Oil Gas Treatments rock. My wife and I got a 2009 Ford Focus SE that was a hand me down from my wive's sister that got the car from a used car dealer that abused the poor thing. Engine ran rough as hell. I repaired the engine mounts and that took out 50% of the rough idle. Then I used your High Milage Fuel Treatment with the Safeguard Ethanol Conditioner and that took another 40% out of the rough idle. Now I just have to chase down the other 10% of the idle issue. Since the fuel treatments did such good job on the Ford, I started using the Synthetic Oil Stabilizer with regular fuel treatment with once a year. I use Deep Clean Fuel System Cleaner in my 2011 GMC Sierra. My mechanic is floored every time and happy to see my valves and piston tops are nearly 100% clean. He tells me that is the reason why my truck seems it wants to run like Corvette even though its a V6 full size Truck. But one thing I get from my truck is it gives me a thank you for using your products. I also use your Synthetic ATF Conditioner on top of my factory ATF fill. The ATF is still light red.

Ethanol fuel regardless of the type has several drawbacks. Two key ones are the loss of horsepower in high outside ambient temp weather and normal cool weather. I have used Lucas's [Safeguard] Ethanol Conditioner about 5,000 after my purchase of my 2005 Ford Escape 4wd/3.0L with 20.000 +K Mi. The difference is very noticeable. There are several steep hills in our area that require you to accelerate up to 4,000 RPM to maintain 65mph. With Lucas I can maintain the 65mph with only 3,000 - 3,500RPM. This now saves a little on the pocketbook on gas purchase. When you use this product plus Lucas's Deep Fuel System Cleaner every 6 months you have a winner for engine performance.

After 30 Miles The Rough Idling Subsided

At 65 years old not much surprises me. I have NEVER used additive in an auto. I have a 2012 Hyundia Genesis with 209,000 miles. It was idling rough. I'm thinking I need a $300.00 cleaning at the dealership. I decided for once in my life I would try an additive. I went to Walmart and of course they had 50 different kinds. I pick LUCAS because they are very reputable company. OK let get to the meat of this story. I put 6 oz of LUCAS UPPER CYLINDER lubricant in my tank. My hand on a bible after 30 miles the rough idling subsided. I would not believe this if it had not happened to me. Jaw dropping moment.

Great stuff! Use it in my 1990 dodge W-250 pickup Cummings equipt. I’ve got 850,000 km on her and never had to have the injectors cleaned since I started using this product. First used it ten years ago under advice of a friend, never will not use it again, more affordable than “other” products on the market and you know for sure, if it’s got the Lucas name on it, it’s a good product.
