Have a 1954 Hudson with noisy low drive, Lucas [Transmission Fix]stopped it. Big trans so we used two bottles. I also have a 1953 Belair that wouldn’t shift up, only manually. Two bottles of Lucas worked fine. Not sure how it does it but it worked for me and it shifts like new now.

I bought a used 2003 Ford Taurus with 80,000 miles in great shape. When the transmission was cold it shifted into reverse just fine. When it warmed up it slipped considerably when shifting into revese only. There was no problem in all forward gears. I added a bottle of Transmission Fix and it reduced the slipping. I then drained the transmission fluid from the pan, changed the filter and refilled the transmission fluid using another bottle of Transmission Fix. After driving it a few miles and warming up it shifted into reverse just fine and the problem was solved with no further slipping. I was amazed!

Now it shifts like a new car !! Great product!

About a year ago, I got a transmission flush in my 2005 Mercury Sable. However, upon doing so, it became apparent that the vehicle had never had the ATF changed in its 145,000 mile lifetime. So, all the clutch material that had basically allowed the tranny to operate normally was gone. The car would not stop bucking and slipping. I have a 1987 Volvo 240GL with just over 270,000 miles on it that gets very little road time. When I got it five years ago the transmission was leaking. I replaced the cooler line fittings only to discover the trans was leaking from the main seal where the bellhousing attaches to the gearbox. To replace this is basically a full rebuild.
