Hot Rod & Classic Car 20W-50 Motor Oil

Lucas Hot Rod & Classic Car Motor Oil SAE 20W-50 is manufactured with the highest quality paraffinic base oils and is fortified with a unique additive package containing high levels of zinc, molybdenum and phosphorus, which provides a tougher, thicker additive film for maximum protection even under the most severe conditions. It lowers oil temperatures, extends oil life and minimizes metal fatigue. It improves the film strength between the cylinder wall and piston rings and slows oil burning and improves pressure in worn engines. It has good cold temperature properties and stands up to high operating temperatures. It is compatible with methanol and all racing fuels, as well as with synthetic and non-synthetic oils.
Lucas Hot Rod & Classic Car Motor Oil SAE 20W-50 is for muscle, showroom, classic and trophy cars without catalytic converters. It can be used in racing applications. Not recommended for passenger car use.

Available in convenient 5 quart bottles, the formulation is perfect for the Hot Rod and Classic Car crowd with an increased zinc value of 2100 PPM. Because many of these very special machines often spend long periods (winter for example in some parts of the country) off the roads, a number of the components of the additive package used in Lucas' Marine oils to provide rust and corrosion protection have been included in its unique formula.

Joe + Jason Olsem uses Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer in 1984 Ford F-250 6.9 Dsl.

one day me and my dad (joe) were in o'reilly auto parts and saw this oil stabilizer so we bought 2 quarts b/c the pickup above always used (Burned) oil. today (3-24-08) we put it in and there was an immediate difference!!!!!!!

the engine has a scored piston beacause it got overheated and was ran on poor fuel a long time ago. so we went driving around and noticed that it ran quieter and smother no really loud rattle. it was windy and we were driving into the wind so the motor was working double time alot and the heat guage never went above the "o" on normal. fairly cool for that engine. the white smoke that is usually associated with the engine is burning oil is gone but the black smoke is still there b/c the injection pump was turned up 10% when it was overhauled but the power was increased and it fires right up when warm no need for glow plugs when its warm!!!!

very wonderful product!!! we will keep on buying it I might try to talk my dad into buying the fuel treatment too
