Rick Thomas uses Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer in his 2001 ford f 150

I drive a company vehicle with 210,000 miles on it. I have been putting lucas in the oil every change for the last 40,000 miles but recently a few days after having the oil changed we were on a trip a few hundred miles from home and we noticed an oil smell and smoke coming out of the rear of the truck. I stopped to check it and found the technican had used a filter wrench on the filter and it had a crack in it which was spraying oil every where. I checked the oil and it wasn't even showing on the stick. I was amazed because the oil pressure never even dropped. I refilled it (5 quarts) and drove it another 10 miles to an auto parts store where i purchased a filter, 5 quarts of oil and another quart of lucas.Ater putting these on the engine I fired it up with no rattles and full oil pressure and drove it home and it is till running fine 210,000 miles. I can't say enough to brag on your product. thanks

Cody Gunby uses Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer in his 1986 Chevy Blazer

About a month ago I bought a 86 Blazer. I had to Replace the rearmain Seal and I couldn't get it to seal off all the way. My dad told me to put a quart of Lucas Oil Stabilizer... Since it was leaking a Little and Shure anufe it stoped the Leak and it runs a lot Better. I don't know how it works but it does.. I would Recomend it to anyone.

Jim Scogin uses Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer in his 1996 Tucker Sno-Cat

We used Lucas HD Oil Stabilizer in our engine (Chrysler 360) and Transfer Case for added protection, as well as Lucas HD 80/90 Gear Oil in the axles (Dana 60).

We installed a set of Richmond Gears PowerTrax (No-Slip) Traction System in the front and rear axles. Richmond Gears and I were worried that the system would not UNLOCK during turns and cause binding on the driveline due to the SLOW speeds in which the Sno-Cat operate. During the installation of the Richmond PowerTrax lockers I used Red "N" Tacky for the grease lubricant around the springs and between the locking gears. Finished off by filling the axles with Lucas HD 80/90 Gear Oil. The Richmond PowerTrax Traction Systems worked flawlessly along with the protection from the Lucas HD 80/90 Gear Oil. I only say this because when we took off the differential cover to drain the gear oil this summer and there was very little presence of metal (residual from years past) in the bottom of the axle housing compared to the last few years of regular maintenance.

Another positive benefit form using Lucas products was the decrease of fuel consumption by a large percentage. We travel 30 miles round trip to a remote site to repair our radar. In years past the Tucker Sno-Cat would consume 40 to 45 gallons of fuel (tank capacity is 50 gallons) making that 30 mile round trip. This past winter (2005-2006) we made that trip out and back, twice in one day, on one tank of fuel and regular trips for the rest of the winter season averaged the same fuel consumption.

This summer, during our pre-season maintenance, we plan to use ONLY Lucas Oil products in the engine, fuel system, transmission, transfer case, axles, hydraulic system, and greasing of the track drive system wheels/bogies. To decrease the risk of mechanical failure by using Lucas Oil Products could be a life saver for me and my co-workers on top of a mountain at 10,000 to 11,000 feet altitude. I am a beleiver in Lucas Oil Products so much that I use them in my personal vehicles. My wifes van (92 Ford Aerostar) had a delay in shifting into reverse. I drained some transmission fluid out and poured in some Lucas Transmission Fix and within a few months the problem was gone. Also, poured in some Lucas HD Oil Stabilizer on the next oil change and it helped with the knocking noise coming from the engine just after startup. Great products! It has saved me alot of money! THANK YOU!

Michael uses Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer in his 1974 gmc pickup

I have a 1974 gmc pickup with over 500,000 miles on it and it was burning 1 quart of oil a week until I started using the oil stabilizer. After putting the stabilizer in I didn't have to add another quart of oil for 1 month. The truck seems to Idle smoother now as well as the oil pressure is much higher. thanks for a great product.

Chris D Rutherford uses Lucas Oil Stabilizer on her 1991 Harley Davidson 1200 Sportster

I just recently rebuilt my 1991 Harley Davidson 1200 Sportster. Both myself and the well known renouned mechanic were amazed at what little wear there was on the moving parts of the engine.

The biggest problem we noticed was that the bearing cage for the fly wheels was desintigrating, but that was not due to lack of lubrication. That was due to the amount of miles on the engine, over 80,000, on an air cooled vtwin engine.( Not bad eh?)

Myself I attribute the lack of wear due to the use of your Lucas oil stabilizer with every oil change. I added (substituted) 1/2 a quart with every oil change. Probably more than is recomended, but alas I think it provided added protection. I did change the oil every 1,000 miles, about three times as much as recomended by Harley, but in the long run I had no problems with the engine.

Well.....the engine is completely rebuilt, the cylinders are bored .005 over, and she is ready to go. Please be assured I will continue to use your product, and I will boast its value to anyone who will listen.

Oh buy the way, my 1994 Chevrolet K1500 P/U, and 1999 Monte Carlo(recently purchased by me) , both of which have well over 100,00 miles on them also get infusions of the Lucas Oil Stabilizer at every oil change.

Thanks for your great product, and thanks for the oppurtunity to share my good fortune with your company.

Don Dutton uses Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer in his 1968 Ford Falcon W/orig motor

I have been using your product for as long as I can remember. I have always heard it was a good product, but I can now say I have experianced it first hand. Today i was on my way home and i lost a freeze plug in my 1968 Fird Falcon, and having no other way to get home i had to drive more then 10 miles with no water in the car by the time i got home all the oil had burned out of the motor but everything was fine it never got hot enough to shut down either. Thank you very much for a wonderful product. If it has a motor I strongly recomend LUCAS.

Bob Ansley uses Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer for 1993 Ford Van

Dale-

I contacted you sometime after Thanksgiving in 2002 after I had put Lucas Oil Stabilizer in my 1993 Ford Van (5.8L engine) and it quieted diwn its many knocks and rattles.

I had promised to let you know how things turned out with that motor. At that time that motor had 191,500 miles on it. It rattled and knocked so bad I was seriuosly motor shopping and discussing my rebuild options with my mechanic. I do not trade-in or sell decent vehicles; I wear them to a nub in my business.

That was 12,500 miles ago, now it;s at 204,000 and running really strong. The rattles and knocks have continously quieted down over the past eight months. The only knocks that I hear are at cold startup or after an oil change. The only rattle is a wrist pin rattle when the motor reaches a cruising equilibrium point - about 60 in drive and about 70 in overdrive. It does not rattle when coasting or pulling. The oil loss-leakage has gone from a minimum quart per 1000 miles to about a quart per 2500-3000.

I took a trip from here at the coast to Greensboro NC last week. I got 462 miles on one tank of gas, 27.3 gallons, 16.9 mpg. This thing has NEVER gotten that kind of gas mileage. It was phenomenal mileage for that thing, being a well used 3/4 ton full size fan.

I have been using various brands of 10W40 oil, having found that 20W50 is not as good on that motor. I've kept the oil changed every 2500-3000 miles. I'm sild on Lucas. Nothing around here ever runs without it now, not even the lawnmowers.

David Doerfler uses Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer for Race car, Boat, Trucks

Hi,

> Big Mike at the local Napa store introduced me to Lucas Oil Stabilizer a couple of months ago and since then I have purchased many of your products for my race truck, personal truck, boat, and wife's car. I ave experimented with most of the different additives on the market over the years but have never been impressed until now. My wife's car a 95 Ford Contour with 120,000 miles runs good but has a death rattle when you initially start it. I changed the oil and added one quart of Lucas Oil Stabilizer, the death rattle is gone and the motor runs smoother than it has in years.

> I drive a 2000 Silverado pickup with 35,000 miles on it, and check the gas mileage each time I fill up. I always get 14 to 14.5 miles per gallon. I added Lucas Fuel Treatment & Injector Cleaner and got 16.9 mpg on the first tank and then added it to the next tank and got 17 mpg. I did not add any to the 3rd tank and my mileage dropped down to 14.6 mpg. Even after purchasing the Fuel Additive I actually save over $3.00 each time I fill up.

> There is nothing wrong with the power steering in my pickup but I added 8 oz. of Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak just to see what it would do. I started the truck and backed out of the driveway and immediately noticed that the steering was smoother and easier to turn. My next test will be on the Ford Contour's transmission using Lucas Transmission Fix, it slips a little when it shifts. Future test will be on the chain saw using Lucas Chain Lubricant and Semi-Synthetic 2-Cycle High Temp Racing Oil. I do have a couple of questions that I hope you will answer.

* On your product specification sheet for the Lucas Fuel Treatment it states that the 5.25 oz. bottle treats approximately 20 gallons (I think it states 25 gallons on the bottle). Also the same sheet states that the 32 oz. bottle treats 100 gallons. So using these numbers 1 oz. treats somewhere between 4.76 gallons and 3.1 gallons. What is the optimum ratio to mix this at?

* My race truck has a posi-track rear end, if I add Lucas Oil Stabilizer to it will it hurt it? Which fluid would you suggest for the rear end? I run a turbo 350 automatic in it should I add Lucas Transmission Fix and if so how much? >

Thank You for making such great products, I tell all my friends and family to use your products. If you have any more literature than what I have found on your website please send it to me, I would be very interested in reading it. > > >

Bob Ross uses Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer for Super Comp Dragster

I contacted you a couple of months ago to get some info on the different Lucas Products. I appreciate your help.

I run a super comp dragster with a 406 S.B. Chevy. In the past I have been using exclusively, Mobil 1 15W50 with no additives. At the beginning of this racing season, I have been mixing 1.5 quarts of Oil Stabilizer with 8 quarts of Mobil 1 and have noticed a dramatic difference in engine wear. Although I do not have a chemical oil analysis or spectro analysis to go by, I have noticed a big difference in the visual condition of the oil since using Lucas. In the past, I would change oil every 10 passes. My most recent oil change was after 15 passes and in my opinion could go another 10 passes. Engine wear is dramatically reduced and the condition of the oil significantly improved. I am now using Lucas Oil Stabilizer in all my engines and differentials in my motor home, truck, generators, motorcycle and classic '70 Chevelle. My Lucas Oil Stabilizer bill was more that my groceries last month. Thanks for developing such a fine product.

Regards,

Bob Ross
