Roman Bilinski joins DAMS Lucas Oil for the 2026 FIA Formula 2 season

DAMS Lucas Oil is delighted to announce the signing of Roman Bilinski for the 2026 FIA Formula 2 Championship, which will feature 14 rounds and 28 races on some of the world’s most prestigious circuits.

Born in the United Kingdom and holding Polish nationality, 21-year-old Roman Bilinski has quickly established himself as one of the most promising young drivers of his generation.

A recipient of the Nigel Mansell Trophy in his early karting years, he has built his career on focus, discipline and determination, qualities that have defined every step of his racing journey.

After a strong start in Ginetta Junior, Bilinski climbed the British single-seater ladder through British F4 and the GB3 Championship, achieving multiple podiums and victories, including one during only his second weekend in the category at Spa- Francorchamps.

Between 2022 and 2024, he continued his development in the Formula Regional European Championship before claiming the Formula Regional Oceania title in early 2024, with six wins, five pole positions, and twelve podiums in fifteen races.

In 2025, he impressed in FIA Formula 3, taking a podium finish on his debut in Melbourne, a secono place in Monaco, and a victory at Monza, the iconic “Temple of Speed.”

Roman’s move to DAMS Lucas Oil represents an important step in his career as he prepares to take on the next level of the FIA single-seater pathway.
