F2 Victory for the Lucas Oil-Sponsored Car

(8th December, 2021) –

New Zealander Marcus Armstrong sped to victory (15pts) in the First Sprint Race in the F2 Championship at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit in Saudi Arabia, last weekend. It was his first F2 win, his first time on top of the podium for the DAMS Motorsport team and his first while driving a Lucas Oil sponsored car.

An 8th place in the Feature Race (2pts) turned his weekend points haul to a satisfying 17pts. It was a well-deserved win on a very tight track. Team mate Roy Nissany (Israel) was just outside the points in each race.

The DAMS team has a long history of wins in the F2 Championship, with 15 driver titles, 16 team titles and 168 race victories. Both cars run on Lucas Oil Synthetic Racing Gear Oil and the team uses various other products such as Lucas Oil Brake Cleaner and a number of items from the Slick Mist car care range before every race.

The team heads now for the final meeting of the season in Abu Dhabi, next week.
