I have a ’99 F250 with a 5.4L with 160,000 miles. The truck developed rod knock last year and the engine eventually blew the bearings off. Come to find out the previous owner didn’t use the proper oil. So I put in a engine with 100,000 miles on it and right away put full synthetic 5w20 with Lucas for prevention down the road. The 5.4 is a notoriously tight engine, after putting the Lucas in a could feel a difference in the way the truck responded and it’s over all smoothness. Oil pressure goes right up and I know all my parts are bing protected. Thank you for protecting my investment.
