Behind the scenes of DAMS Lucas Oil
Back at Monza:
Our F2 drivers had a challenging weekend. The Sprint Race did not bring points, but in the Feature Race Jack Crawford secured 10th place, adding one more point to the team’s tally. Kush Maini finished 12th, just shy of the top 10.
In F3, Matias Zagazeta delivered an excellent 4th fastest qualifying time, his best of the season. However, the team couldn’t turn that performance into points over the weekend. Nicola Lacorte, penalised in the Sprint, finished 20th in the Feature, just behind Christian Ho, who claimed 10th place and his first points.
Together, they showed the resilience and potential of the team, which ended its season at Monza, the temple of speed.
Our drivers faced iconic circuits:
-
- Silverstone: a weekend marked by changing conditions and tight battles.
- Hungaroring: a demanding track that tested tyre management and race strategy.
- Spa-Francorchamps: always spectacular, with unpredictable weather and action-packed races.
These events gave the team the opportunity to showcase its fighting spirit and commitment, race after race, in both Formula 2 and Formula 3.
DAMS Lucas Oil showcases at Foussier: a local connection
This summer, we had the pleasure of displaying “La Gasly” in the showroom of Foussier, a major regional player and our partner through Milwaukee. Beyond simply h ighlighting our sporting universe, this activation reflects our desire to develop a community-based marketing approach, meeting our partners and team members in their daily environment.
These privileged moments create and strengthen authentic human bonds that go far beyond visibility through image. They illustrate our commitment to strong local connections, built on shared values and passion.
A big thank you to Foussier for their warm welcome.

Behind the scenes of DAMS Lucas Oil: meeting Emma, Team Coordinator
Behind the on-track performances of DAMS Lucas Oil lies an invisible world for the general public: logistics, organisation and daily management. At the heart of it all, Emma plays a key role. Passionate and committed, she is Team Coordinator – a discreet yet indispensable role that demands rigour, versatility, and above all, humanity.
A path shaped by encounters
Nothing predestined Emma for this particular position. While studying sports management in France, she discovered motorsport through an internship at a Grand Prix, where she met Louis, now her col league at DAMS Lucas Oil. Encouraged, she pursued this path, inspired by the family story of Jean-Paul Driot, founder of the team. Her own story could have led her into transport logistics, but fate steered her towards the paddocks of Formula 3 and Formula 2.
People first
What Emma loves most about her job is not mechanics or technology, but the human side: “Creating cohesion is what drives me.” She ensures the drivers and the whole team never lack anything, especially on
race weekends where schedules are tough and fatigue kicks in. She makes sure meals are organised, timings are anticipated, so that the team can stay focused on performance.
Between logistics and hospitality
Being Team Coordinator also means looking after guests and sponsors, preparing accreditations, and welcoming personalities from all around the world. “We mustn’t forget how extraordinary this job is. Our guests are often amazed, coming from such different backgrounds. That’s the richness of meeting them,” she adds.
A family chosen by destiny
Travel ling with the FIA calendar, the intensity of race weekends … all of this creates a unique bond among the team members. “It’s like a family you didn’t choose, yet you live together all the time,” she says with a smile. United by passion and competition, Emma holds a discreet yet essential place within the team.
We are delighted to count Milwaukee among our partners! More than just a brand of power tools and innovative equipment, Milwaukee embodies a true spirit: energy, boldness and performance. Always focused on efficiency and precision, they also bring a touch of fun and dynamism that perfectly matches our team.
For DAMS Lucas Oil, it is a real pleasure to collaborate with such an inspiring partner: their products support us in the workshop, and their innovation and confidence values fuel our motivation at every race. Together, we form a winning duo: serious about performance, but always with a smile!
