My transmission was slipping in 1st and 2nd gear and would take a minute to catch first when taking off. Now it doesn’t slip at all, still takes a second to catch but not nearly as long.

I have a 1990 Corvette which I have owned 25 years. I replaced 4 transmissions and this time the 4th one started slipping in high gear and I had enough. These are coming straight from GM. About a year ago, I got a transmission flush in my 2005 Mercury Sable. However, upon doing so, it became apparent that the vehicle had never had the ATF changed in its 145,000 mile lifetime. I have a 1987 Volvo 240GL with just over 270,000 miles on it that gets very little road time. When I got it five years ago the transmission was leaking. My ’02 Chevy Cavalier coupe is definitely one of the nice looking ones still around, except that I noticed some play in the transmission at around 98,000 Miles.
