A couple weeks ago on my way home from work while I was climbing a mile and a half hill, I noticed the heat gauge telling me that the "buggy" was getting a little warm. at about the 3/4 of the way up the hill the gauge was also at 3/4 of the way up too. Well I figured i'd get over the top and let her cool down a bit by coasting down the backside into town. needless to say she was steamed up pretty good. I nursed her to a convience store at the bottom of the hill. After getting some water in her, and when most of the steam subsided, I could see a 4 inch split in the bottom radiator hose. I got some more water in her to help cool it down a bit, all the while realizing its not going to hold spit. I know I should have called a tow truck then and there but I didn't, I figured I'd "nurse" her home. The truck was starting to "clank" pretty good by now,so I stopped about every quarter mile to put water in.

I made it home and towed her to the repair shop for the hose and a new thermostat.

When I got the truck back, she ran like a top, and to this day she doesn't show any signs of oil leakage due to a warped head, and of she doesn't over heat.

Not to bad for a truck with over 175 thou on the odometer, and never been cracked open since I've owned her, some 150 thousand miles ago.

All this I owe to the "religious" use of the heavy duty oil stabilizer from LUCAS every oil change.

This is the gods honest truth. an this is what sold me on Lucas products.A friend of mine bought a 1990 F150 that was in excellent shape appearance wise but the little 5 liter ford had a rod bearing hammering somthing awful. At around 57,000 miles my engine started making a load tapping sound during start ups and would last until the engine would warm up. Fearing that I was in need of major internal engine work, I went to Autozone to see if they had any recommendations. The manager told me that everyone at the store uses Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer on their vehicles and that it is known to reduce knocking and tapping sounds in engines. i have been using your oil stabilizer for over 7yrs now in all my cars and lawn equipment. My camero has over 228k miles on it and it still runs like it only has 100k miles. It does not smoke or make any high milage engine noise's that you would be hearing by now with all those miles but it does not make any noise's what so ever. It also has all the horse power that it had when i first bought it 10yrs ago. I believe,no i know it is your product that is making my engine perform so well and running so good. My friends can not believe how good my car runs with all those miles. I will be writing back when i hit 300k miles and i'm sure it is going to go much further than that. we began using lucas oil stabilizer four years ago and have found our high hour tractors and combines have reduced oil consumption and blow-by. Even used oil which we use to lubricate roller chain on machinery is better than commercial chain lube products becuase it sticks to the chain and heat won't break it down. The stuff makes good oil great. we believe lucas oil stabilizer extends the engine life of our tractors and combines.

Six years ago I aquired an '88 Dodge Dakota. The motor had nearly 300K miles on it and was knocking on cylinder number four. After rolling in a new set of bearings, lightly sanding the rod and main caps and adding pieces of .002" and or .003" brass shim-stock under the bearing caps the bearing clearances were back within specs. After driving the truck for two weeks the oil pressure at highway speeds had again dropped below 20 psi. I was sure that motor would not last another month. Just for the sake of trying I changed the oil and adder a quart of Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer. The benefits were immediately noticed. Cold idle oil pressure was over 85psi, hot idle pressure was over 45psi and pressure at highway speed was between 55psi and 65 psi. This truck is not driven a lot but over the last six years I have put another 40K miles on this motor changing the oil every 3K miles and adding a quart of Lucas at every oil change. The motor still has the same oil pressure as when I first started using Lucas. As the owner of an automotive repair shop I now purchase Lucas by the case in gallon jugs and recommend it to all of my customers as well as use it in every vehicle I own. I use it in my 2002 Harley Davidson, 1997 Dodge Caravan with 266K miles, 1980 Dodge Power Wagon, 1996 Ram 1500, 1998 Dodge Durango, 2001 Honda Recon and all my kids dirtbikes and go carts. I've been using Lucas products for over 10 years but never visited your website. I have 3 Toyotas, but have owned 7, several to 125,000+ , a used 96 Ford F150 with 90,000 and a Yamaha 115 outboard. Everything gets Lucas oil treatment. When I sell a car, only because of boredom, the first thing I show the buyer is the oil stick and the inside of engine filler with a flashlight. I never leak or burn oil or have any engine wear problems. Bottom line is your products save me money and today that's very important to me. Thank You Lucas!!!!

My 2003 Pete has 725,000 miles on it using 3 or 4 of your products on a regular basis. This particular truck has had 2 oil changes using your product and one of the oil changes was by one of my drivers and I wasnt very happy about it. At any rate, your products are the best thing for any diesel truck. I also use your fuel treatment regularly by priming my fuel filters with your treatment only. I have yet to have an injector problem. The truck, by using your grease only, has all original U-joints and anything greasable. I just thought I'd write this letter to let you know that I know your product is the best in the world.
