Lucas Oil Products (UK) has added two new members. Both will be based the company’s headquarters in Anglesey, North Wales.

Roo Pitt becomes Marketing Coordinator. He will take charge of brand building and social media broadcasting. He will also be involved in the development of a series of outreach programmes that includes expansion of the Lucas Oil Academy (LOA), the Lucas Oil Racing Drivers Club (LORDC) plus Brand Ambassador liaison.

Brand Ambassadors are becoming increasingly important to the sales and marketing cause. They are industry professionals who promote products via a range of online mediums, at tracksides and at trade shows. The LORDC provides racing drivers from many disciplines with access to oils and additives at discount prices. LOA is an initiative that extends educational links to local colleges and automotive training organisations/groups. It aims to build awareness about oil specifications and the developing roles of additive technology in the garage environment.
