VEHICLE SPECIFICATIONS

Engine replaced now a 454 built by Matt Shaff at Racing Specialities New York, rebuilt by Dan Williams at Williams Bros Racing Dec 2015 and features forged pistons, ProForm 850 carb, Hooker headers with dual exhaust system, ‘Be Cool’ alloy radiator, Hurst line lock. Transmission is a Turbo 400, 12 bolt rear end with 373 gears. Car remains totally street legal and is driven to and from all events.

SERIES ENTERED

‘Bruce’ will see the odd outing in Pro ET and UK Nostalgia Super Stock and will be raced at the Summer Nationals and Dragstalgia along with a demo at Flame & Thunder. ‘Bruce’ also attends many car shows throughout the year and is very well known for giving people fantastic passenger rides at Santa Pod Raceway.

Team history & highlights

‘Bruce’ is owned and driven by Colin Theobald, commentator at Santa Pod Raceway. The car is part of a 5 car team at Williams Bros Racing, expect to see other members of the team behind the wheel as the team cars are often in different locations around Europe.

‘Bruce’ personal best is 11.42 at 117mph, no power adders, all engine….Winner of Best Burnout at Carfest South 2015, Front cover and main feature car in the Christmas issue of American Car magazine December 2014
