American SpeedFest and US AutoShow to be Powered by Lucas Oil Until 2025

Nia Lloyd-Williams, Financial Director Lucas Oil UK and Jon Murden, Chief Executive National Motor Museum

(27th November, 2023) –

Lucas Oil has been confirmed as Headline Partner for both the American SpeedFest and US AutoShow brands for a further two years. The agreement ensures that both events will be ‘powered by Lucas Oil’ until at least 2025.

The US manufacturer and distributor of automotive oils, additives, and lubricants extends its association with both events after a successful relationship with event organiser MotorSport Vision Group, throughout 2023.

American SpeedFest 11 ‘powered by Lucas Oil’, returns to Brands Hatch on 8/9 June 2024. A full weekend of US-flavoured action includes bill-topping on-track entertainment from the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series. This the only UK event to feature officially sanctioned stock car racing of this kind.

The fixture will reprise the dedicated SpeedFest Country Music Festival, which was so successful last time around. Other highlights will include themed support races, displays and much more family entertainment.

US AutoShow returns to Oulton Park for the third time in 2024. Like the American SpeedFest, it will be ‘powered by Lucas Oil’ and will feature a themed race line-up, with showpiece racing from Bernie’s V8s and Historic Outlaws and a focus on retro American V8s.

Both events will also feature NASCAR demonstrations from genuine cars built and raced in the USA.

MotorSport Vision Group’s Motorsport Event Manager David Willey said: “I’m delighted to welcome Lucas Oil back onboard as Headline Partner for both American SpeedFest and US AutoShow until at least 2025. Lucas Oil has been an enormously enthusiastic supporter of each of these events in 2023 and we’re looking forward to strengthening that relationship over the coming years.”

Dan Morgan, Sales and Operations Director for Lucas Oil said: “Both events provided locations that were strong showcases for the Lucas Oil brand. The SpeedFest music event was a big success and ensured wider exposure to a broad range of visitors. We are delighted to extend our involvement with both events over a longer term.”
